The rubber protective cover supplied as standard provides enough protection, as this is where most of the forces come to bear. Over the two raised edges that the Flowter Protective Covers come over, the pedal only rests against it, and thus less forces are applied. However, we have heard from customers that these two raised edges can scratch the pedal when it is quickly put on and taken off. So avoid scratches and ensure an even softer landing for your bike.
