Can this system damage my bike?
No, the system has been developed with a high priority to prevent damage. During suspension, sturdy rubber supports the pedal and ensures that the pedal is softly caught. In addition, we are more often asked whether there is not too much weight on the axles of the pedals during suspension. Since the pedals are the point where all the cyclist's weight comes to bear, the few kilos of a bike pulling on the pedals when suspended are negligible.
How do I hang several bicycles above each other on the wall?
No, this is what the system is optimised for. Because the system is sliding and thus adapts to the space and bike, this is very easy.
Why a sliding system?
A suspension system at the pedal without a sliding part is a very limited system. What if a larger or smaller bike is to be hung on that system instead of the current one? This then cannot be done because of the ratio differences. What if you want to hang the bike as tight as possible against the wall? With a non-sliding system, the pedal support area must be kept universal so that any type of pedal fits on the system. Which results in the bike always hanging far from the wall. Trying to hang three bikes on top of each other then only leads to irritation and you have to be lucky if the handlebars of the other bike don't collide.
A sliding system is the solution. By being able to shift the pedal support part, the system adapts to the bike. Each type of pedal is different and the closer the pedal is to the wall, the more optimised it is suspended.
Tired of the bike currently hanging on the wall? And want to hang another one? Shift the two wheel carriers over the given wire, to a position that suits the bike. Is it a larger bike? Then move it to the lowest position.

Of course, the product has been fiercely tested for each type of bike. The sliding system on which the pedal rests was a particular point of focus for us. If you tighten the wing nuts properly and have drilled the installation material in properly, the heaviest e-bike can hang from it with ease.
We apply a maximum weight of: 30 KG. However, this varies depending on the material. The materials below should provide sufficient support for any type of bicycle if installed correctly. Nevertheless, if in doubt, we recommend purchasing hollow wall anchors for hollow materials.
The dowels supplied are suitable for: aerated concrete, solid brick and perforated, wood threaded bolt, sand-lime brick, aerated concrete, concrete, chipboard, natural stone, gypsum board, solid brick, perforated brick, light concrete hollow brick, hollow floor slabs made of bricks and concrete or equivalent and aerated concrete. The system in action:

Ik bestelde de pedaalhanger, maar vergat in alle haast de beschermhoezen. Ik contacteerde Flowter onmiddellijk met de vraag of deze alsnog aan de bestelling kon worden toegevoegd. Mijn bericht werd helaas niet op tijd gelezen en de bestelling was bij hen al de deur uit. Niet getreurd stelde Mika: “bestel even de beschermhoezen op de website en de verzendingskosten nemen we op ons”. Dat is nu nog eens topservice! Dankjewel Mika, dankjewel Flowter.

Een paar dagen geleden had ik dit ophangsysteem geïnstalleerd. In het eerste opzicht leek het mij moeilijk te installeren, het zijn namelijk drie onderdelen die apart opgehangen moeten moeten worden. Gelukkig werd het tegendeel bewezen, ik was verbaasd hoe makkelijk het ging, de handleiding en installeren was erg makkelijk.
Daarna ging de fiets er op en dit alleen zag er al erg mooi uit. Het werd toen ook duidelijk waar het verschuifbare gedeelte voor is, ik kon nu de fiets op basis van stuurbreedte dichter bij de muur brengen, zo nam die minder ruimte in beslag.
Kortom, erg tevreden, dit bespaart mij een heleboel ruimte.

De hanger is kwalitatief zeer hoogwaardig en door zijn instelbaarheid erg functioneel en onderscheidend tov andere hangers op de markt. Heel handig ophangsysteem, mijn fiets stond al een tijdje in de weg en dat is nu opgelost. Mijn fiets is nu onderdeel geworden van de kamerindeling en is zo van de muur te halen als ik hem nodig heb. Het installeren is zo gepiept, hoewel t wel nodig is om gaatjes te boren, maar dat kan eigenlijk niet anders als je een fiets op wilt hangen.

Ik was op zoek naar een ophangsysteem waarbij de fietsen minimale ruimte in beslag nemen. Ik had eerder een systeem waarbij de fietsen recht aan het frame werden opgehangen, maar door de breedte van het stuur hingen ze toch vaak in de weg. Flowter lost dit op en het ziet er ook nog eens heel strak uit, alsof je fietsen aan de muur zweven. Zelfs mijn vrouw vond het op deze manier niet erg dat een extra fiets in de garage moest worden opslagen 😉

Daar wij 6 fietsen in de schuur hebben en met veel moeite en schelden juist die éne fiets uit de schuur te halen heb ik gekozen voor het Flowter ophangsysteem. Mijn urban fiets en racefiets hangen keurig aan de muur en wij hebben nu de ruimte én gemak om de fiets er makkelijk uit te halen. Ik ben super blij met mijn Flowter Pedaalhangers. Speciaal gezocht naar een systeem waarbij ik mijn fiets zo dicht mogelijk langs de muur kon installeren. Weliswaar niet de goedkoopste, want het het komt (gelukkig) niet uit China, maar een degelijk systeem met gemakkelijke installatie.
Wel wat problemen gehad met de levering van mijn bestelling, maar deze heeft Mika goed opgelost. Prima service.

Tijdje geleden had ik het systeem gehaald aangezien ik weinig ruimte heb in m’n studentenkamer. Werkt perfect, ik kan m’n fiets lekker dichtbij de muur hangen om veel ruimte over te houden voor m’n andere spullen. Verder ook prima te installeren, was binnen 30 minuutjes klaar.
