Is this system easy to install?

Yes, the drilling jigs allow drilling right away and do not require awkwardly marking out holes. Also, the position of the wheel carriers is based on the pedal bearing and is therefore easy to determine.

Can this system damage my bike?

No, the system has been developed with a high priority to prevent damage. During suspension, sturdy rubber supports the pedal and ensures that the pedal is softly caught. In addition, we are more often asked whether there is not too much weight on the axles of the pedals during suspension. Since the pedals are the point where all the cyclist’s weight comes to bear, the few kilos of a bike pulling on the pedals when suspended are negligible.

Does this system really make hanging three bikes above each other easier?

Sure. The fact that both the Wheel Carriers and the carrier section can be moved makes it much easier to hang three bikes above each other on a wall. By sliding the pedal carrier part all the way out, the bike will hang further from the wall, thus freeing up more space above the bike.

So you can easily hang another bike very tightly above this one, and adjust the system so that the handlebars do not hit the spokes of the other bike.

It also becomes easier if a mistake was made during drilling and the bike does not fit on the system. Is the bike now just above the wheel carriers? Shift the Wheel Carriers one step higher.

How do I hang several bicycles above each other on the wall?

No, this is what the system is optimised for. The manual also refers to this article: https://flowter.co/fiets-ophangen/hoe-hang-je-drie-fietsen-horizontaal-boven-elkaar-op-de-muur/, where additional explanations are given about hanging multiple bikes above each other. Because the system is sliding and thus adapts to the space and bike, this is very easy.

Why a sliding system?

A suspension system at the pedal without a sliding part is a very limited system. What if a larger or smaller bike is to be hung on that system instead of the current one? This then cannot be done because of the ratio differences. What if you want to hang the bike as tight as possible against the wall? With a non-sliding system, the pedal support area must be kept universal so that any type of pedal fits on the system. Which results in the bike always hanging far from the wall. Trying to hang three bikes on top of each other then only leads to irritation and you have to be lucky if the handlebars of the other bike don’t collide.

A sliding system is the solution. By being able to shift the pedal support part, the system adapts to the bike. Each type of pedal is different and the closer the pedal is to the wall, the more optimised it is suspended.

Tired of the bike currently hanging on the wall? And want to hang another one? Shift the two wheel carriers over the given wire, to a position that suits the bike. Is it a larger bike? Then move it to the lowest position.

Where is the product made? Is it durable?
Is the product safe? And what are the suitable building materials?

Of course, the product has been fiercely tested for each type of bike. The sliding system on which the pedal rests was a particular point of focus for us. If you tighten the wing nuts properly and have drilled the installation material in properly, the heaviest e-bike can hang from it with ease.

We apply a maximum weight of: 30 KG. However, this varies depending on the material. The materials below should provide sufficient support for any type of bicycle if installed correctly. Nevertheless, if in doubt, we recommend purchasing hollow wall anchors for hollow materials.

The dowels supplied are suitable for: aerated concrete, solid brick and perforated, wood threaded bolt, sand-lime brick, aerated concrete, concrete, chipboard, natural stone, gypsum board, solid brick, perforated brick, light concrete hollow brick, hollow floor slabs made of bricks and concrete or equivalent and aerated concrete. For certain materials, there is a deviation in the maximum weight and will need to be checked on the fischer.co.uk website for the correct specifications.

Can I hang any bike I want?

The system is specially designed to hang every bike on the same system. Unfortunately, there are some exceptions; we are talking about a very small percentage of bikes.

The notch where the connecting piece of the crank sits to the pedal has a size of 26mm.

97% of pedals would fit in here. The big pedals from, for example, the Atlas and Raceface brands would then not fit in here.

Does my bike get the wall or system dirty?

No, the bike will never touch the wall. The system is optimised for each type of bicycle and thus only touches the system during use. The system can be easily cleaned. Mud and other dirt is wiped off and will not penetrate through the high-quality powder-coat finish.

Does the system really utilise my space?

Yes, that is exactly what we have developed our system around. To hang the bike as efficiently as possible, the pedal should be as tight as possible against the wall. As every type of pedal is different, it is therefore difficult to develop a universal system.

Therefore, a sliding system. This way, based on the pedal size, the system can shift. Whereby the pedal can come as close to the wall as possible and the bike completely sticks to the wall. This way, nothing of space is lost.
